OUR PASTOR

Our pastor, Tim Bartee, became the shepherd of the Northtowne Church family in the fall of 2006.  In a revival service in Dayton, Ohio, Pastor Tim accepted Christ just before his 16th birthday and preached his first sermon just after his 18th birthday.  He married Robin in the summer of 1984 and they have five children, Amber (her husband Derek), twin daughters, Christa (her husband C.J.) and Cala (her husband A.J.), and their son T.J., and most recent, Titus. The Bartee patriarch has ten grandchildren, Leyton, Rozelyn, Gweneth, Charlee, Wesley Charles, Stella, Anthony, Monroe, Simeon and Jack Timothy, with another on the way! Pastor Tim was raised in Dayton, Ohio, and followed in the footsteps of his father who was a pastor for 36 years. Pastor Tim and Robin attended Beulah Christian University in Atlanta, Georgia, and our pastor received his Bachelor's Degree from Cincinnati Christian University and his Master's Degree from Cincinnati Christian Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with Robin. Pastor Tim is the Christian Education Director for the C.G.M.A. and serves on the distinguished Board of Elders of the C.G.M.A. (Picture - Pastor Tim in Haiti at the Sonshine Children's Home with one of the children who lives there.  Northtowne Church of God has supported the Sonshine Children's Home since the mid 1970's.)

PASTOR EMERITUS

Pastor Emeritus, Merle Laws and His wife Marlin served our Church as pastor for 27 years from 1971 to 1998. Pastor Laws went home to be with the Lord on January  13, 2016.  Pastor Laws and his encouraging words will be missed at Northtowne Church of God.  His wife, Marlin Laws, continues to serve in the church and her ministry is greatly appreciated.
